PRIVACY STATEMENT
F2FX recognize the importance of protecting the privacy of all information provided by participants. We created this policy with a fundamental respect for our participants' right to privacy and to guide our relationships with our participants. This Privacy Statement discloses the privacy practices for BioTuesdays 2009 and for the upcoming events.

INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE
F2FX collects information from participants. In this section of our Privacy Statement, we describe the type of information we collect and how we use them.
When attending our event, participants must first register. During registration, participants are required to give their contact information (such as name, e-mail address, mailing address and phone number, company information and professional certification). For internal purposes, we use this information to communicate with participants and provide requested services. As we are using only the information collected from the participant, the participant have to certify that the information mentioned in the registration form and company profile is correct and true.

E-mails
All the e-mails participants are going to receive are in direct link with their participation to BioTuesdays 2009. Further to the event, their contact information will be use to inform them about upcoming events we organize.

At every moment between your registration and the event, you are at your disposal to help you. Feel free to contact us.
Communications from Us
In order to best serve our participants, we may send important information about BioTuesdays, information about additional program and reminders. Every participant will receive a confirmation of registration by e-mail.

Marketing support
We may use participants Family Name, First name, Company and function inside participants list to promote the event.
Automatic Data Collection
We collect the information included in the participants’ registration form to implement our data base. This information will be used to inform participants about BioTuesdays 2009 and about upcoming events organized by us.
We may also use an email delivery and marketing company to send BioTuesdays promotional emails. As being in our data base, you will automatically receive them. In conformity with the law, at every time, you can unsubscribe or ask for the personal information we have about you.
We use this information for our internal trend analysis and system administration, and to gather broad information about our participant base.

CORRECTION/UPDATING PERSONAL INFORMATION
During the BioTuesdays 2009 process, participants have to contact the organization to change the data of their registration. All year long, participant can feel free to send us contact updates.

By accepting this Privacy Statement, participants enables F2FX to send them information about the BioTuesdays 2009 event and about other events organized by us, upcoming events and partners’ events.
Please note that we will endeavor to implement participants’ requests within a reasonable time, although for a time you may continue to receive mailings, etc. In addition, please note that even after a participant’s unsubscribe for one event communication, the participant stay in our data base and will receive information about other events.

SECURITY
We use reasonable precautions to protect information about our customers while it is stored on our high protected servers. In addition, access to all of our participants' information is restricted. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information. Finally, the servers on which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
